Rotary Club Split Novi is a mixed club. We currently have 28 members and act as part of the 1913 District.
From the very beginning in 2008, we have focused our projects on improving the quality of life of children in the City of Split and in the Split-Dalmatia County. We are dedicated primarily to improving the lives of the youngest among us, encouraging the full social integration of children with special needs, supporting institutions caring for vulnerable groups of children and the Clinic for Pediatric Diseases of the Clinical Hospital Center Split.
The glamorous charter in the cellars of the Diocletian’s Palace and a humanitarian gala concert entitled “Rotary for the Children of Split” most solemnly marked the establishment of the Rotary Club Split Novi on June 21st 2008.
We are proud of our successful cooperation with the Clinic for Pediatric Diseases of CHC Split, and with our valuable actions we have provided our youngest citizens with medical equipment worth over one million kunas. We especially emphasize the projects “Helping the Children of the City of Split and Dalmatia” from 2016, worth 400.000 HRK, the project “Respirator” from 2018, worth 160.000 HRK and the project “My teacher is called Hope” from 2019, worth 200.000 HRK. Rotary club Split Novi was the first in the Croatian District to fully realize the Global Grant, in which one Croatian club was the project promoter.
