Our Treasurer Jakov Kostic had the opportunity to meet Rotary International President Barry
Rassin at a convention in Hamburg and talk to him about the Club’s humanitarian activities.
President Barry Rassin was delighted to learn that our Club is actively supporting projects for
preterm infants and the Clinic for children diseases, which, with the eradication of polio, is
currently the most relevant topic in the Rotarian community.
He shared with Jakov that one of the core values of our organization is caring for the mother
and the child and that he does everything to emphasize enough the importance of projects
like ours that are permanently changing the environment in which we live. He also asked
Jakov to convey his greetings to the Club and to continue to be an inspiration to our local
and global community.
